This 6 hour training provided via Zoom will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Understand, Recognize, and Respond to Grooming Behaviors.
As caring adults, it’s our responsibility to help create environments where youth feel supported, safe, and empowered. This training focuses on how grooming behaviors can unfold over time—and how to intervene early to prevent harm.
Participants will learn how to:
Train adults how distinguish between healthy adult-child interactions and boundary violations or pre-offending behaviors
Train adults to build the confidence and skills to intervene when concerns arise—at home, in the community, or within youth-serving organizations
Train adults how to develop and implement proactive organizational policies that support safe environments
Train adults to identify key safety indicators in organizational handbooks and volunteer guidelines
The training is conducted live via Zoom and includes interactive discussions, activities, and demonstrations.
This training is ideal for educators, clinicians, case workers, and other professionals who work with or support adolescents.
