
Youth Programs.
Healthy Relationships Project® (HRP) School-based Curriculum is a comprehensive, developmentally-targeted set of programs designed to prevent child sexual abuse and promote safe, healthy relationships for all children and youth.
The school-based curriculum includes four core components:

All programs are grounded in current research and tailored to the developmental needs of students from Pre-K through 12th grade. They are designed to support child safety and prevent both victimization and problematic sexual behavior.
Our School-based Programs
Care for Kids
Grades Pre-K – 2
Care for Kids is an early childhood sexual abuse prevention curriculum that engages teachers, childcare providers, and parents. Through lessons that build communication skills, empathy, and healthy attitudes toward sexuality, young children learn about:
Correct names for body parts
Understanding and maintaining healthy boundaries
Positive and respectful relationships

We Care Elementary
Grades 3 – 6
We Care Elementary equips educators to teach age-appropriate, safety-supporting content focused on personal boundaries and relationship safety. The program includes:
Lesson plans for teachers
Parent newsletters and home connection sheets
School staff training
Opportunities for school-community collaboration

SAFE-T
Grades 7 – 8
SAFE-T (Sexual Abuse Free Environment for Teens) is a middle school prevention curriculum that helps students recognize unsafe situations and supports respectful relationships. It includes:
Student lessons about consent and personal safety
Adult training for school staff and parents
Tools to reduce both sexual victimization and perpetration

Project SELFIE
Grades 7 – 12
Project SELFIE (Safe Expression Online for Internet Empowerment) prepares students to navigate digital communication safely and responsibly. The curriculum covers:
The difference between consent, cooperation, and compliance
Coping with peer pressure around sexting
How to respond to sexting requests or unsolicited images
Empowered bystander strategies
The program also includes Project SELFIE: Keeping Youth Safe on the Internet, a two-hour training for parents, caregivers, and professionals who work with youth. This interactive training helps adults prevent and respond to:
Adolescent sexting
Online grooming and exploitation
Harmful exposure to pornography
Risky digital interactions with known acquaintances
Note: Project SELFIE can be used on its own or as a supplement to the SAFE-T program.
