This 6 hour training provided via Zoom will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Nurturing Healthy Sexual Development (Second Edition).
Gain the knowledge and skills to teach adults to communicate openly with children, recognize both typical and concerning sexual behaviors, answer tough questions with confidence, and provide positive, age-appropriate messages. Nurturing healthy sexual development is a key strategy in preventing child sexual abuse and reducing the risk of children developing sexually harmful behaviors.
Participants will learn how to:
Train adults how to understand healthy sexual development across various developmental stages
Train adults on ways to support and nurture healthy sexual development in children
The training is conducted live via Zoom and includes interactive discussions, activities, and demonstrations.
This training is ideal for educators, clinicians, case workers, and other professionals who work with or support adolescents.
