This 6 hour training provided via Zoom will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Overcoming Barriers to Protecting Children.
While individuals and communities deeply value child safety, they often face real challenges when it comes to prevention—especially when navigating personal relationships with individuals exhibiting concerning behaviors.
In Overcoming Barriers to Protecting Children, participants explore what adults can do to help communities overcome these barriers and create safer environments for children, all through a safety-supported lens.
Participants will learn how to:
Train adults on identifing common barriers to preventing child sexual abuse
Train adults on exploring strategies to overcome these barriers in real-life situations
Train adults how to understand how to build safer communities using a prevention-focused approach
The training is conducted live via Zoom and includes interactive discussions, activities, and demonstrations.
